Spring into Action

Spring is here, a time for growth and renewal! We've put the clocks forward, the sun is shining and buds are bursting into bloom. Now is the time to propel yourself forward and re-energise your plans, goals and ideas. And if you're not yet beginning to see the results of the seeds you've been sowing, or you want to be sure that you stay on track.....read on.

Tips for staying on track

1 Purpose and Desire
Keep your end goal in mind, regularly visualise having already achieved it, check it's still meaningful and
worthwhile, and that it supports a higher purpose or outcome

2 One Step at a Time
Doing something is better than nothing, take one step each day that takes you closer to your goal

3 Build on what you already have
Acknowledge what you've achieved so far, notice how far you've come and boost your energy for moving forward

4 Plan for Success
Failing to plan means planning to fail. Have a clear plan in place, manage your time well and build in some
flexibility....you never know when you might need it!

5 Positivity
Maintain a positive state of mind, believe in yourself and focus on what can be done not what can't.

The only time you can be effective and make a difference is right now, and whatever you're doing now is shaping your future, so use this present moment to take positive action. What will you do today to take you one step closer?

"You are what you're deep driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny"

Exercise: Creating a natural energy flow to achieve your goals

1 Think of a time when you felt you were putting in lots of effort and yet were still struggling to make progress.
What was the outcome?
How did it feel?
Where was your focus of attention?
How would you like it to have been different?

2 Now think of a time when you achieved something almost effortlessly.
What was the outcome?
How did it feel?
Where was your focus of attention?
What was different?

3 Now think of a current goal. Notice what comes easily and anything that feels more of a struggle. What options do you have for making it easier, working smarter, getting some help? How else can you achieve your goal?

Wishing you lots of success!
Denise
