Today’s gift is Wellbeing.
The benefits of Nature on our physical and mental health are becoming widely known.

Scientific studies show that just 15 minutes spent in nature can have a positive impact on our mind and body, a recent British study recommends a ‘weekly dose’ of 2 hours per week in nature and doctors are even being urged to recommend time in nature to help tackle stress and other mental health issues.
But we don’t need to be experiencing problems to justify time in nature. It really deserves to be a priority not merely an afterthought.
And now more than ever, whether outdoors or in our own home, connecting in nature can improve our wellbeing physically, mentally and emotionally.
Practice
Take time this week to simply be in Nature……whether an open space, a park or garden, a balcony or in your own home.
Set your devices, your thoughts and your To Do list aside.
As you sit, or walk, take a few deep, comfortable breaths.
Bring your attention to the breath, flowing in, flowing out and allow your mind to settle.
Imagine seeing through fresh eyes, like an innocent child or an innocent creature.
Become aware of sights, sounds, smells and sensations.
Take your time. Notice what you notice.
Enjoy ?
