Fading or Flourishing

On a group call I held recently we looked at Change and Impermanence.

Both of course are natural and ever present in Nature. As one season closes another begins. As the blossom fades the fruit begin to grow. And as the leaves fall from the trees, fungi emerge from the soil.

The same is true in our own lives too.

Some aspects might naturally be fading while others are beginning to flourish. A job, a home, a habit or a relationship perhaps.

But sometimes we resist what’s natural and calling us to change. Avoiding new opportunities or investing energy in what’s no longer true.

In the words of Thich Nhat Hanh

“It is not impermanence that makes us suffer. What makes us suffer is wanting things to be permanent, when they are not”

When we connect intuitively with what’s fading or flourishing we can choose and create what’s natural and true.

>What’s fading or flourishing in your life?

>What are you holding onto that it’s really time to let go?

>What is it that’s calling you, to nurture, nourish and grow?

>Act in favour of this.
