Have you noticed extra tension or stiffness in your body? And how your breathing might seem more restricted.
In fact there’s a common phenomenon… that when we’re concentrating we unconsciously often hold our breath, and actually forget to breathe! As if this extra effort somehow aids our concentration.
Clearly this isn’t true and isn’t good for us either. It causes physical and mental strain. And over time can lead to aches, pains and feelings of tiredness or exhaustion.
So pay attention to the breath.
Practice breathing fully and deeply.
And remember to take regular breaks where you can move, change your posture or better still, get outside in nature
And breathe…….. 💚
